Pereff's Project Rescue capability addresses stalled, failing, or distressed construction projects. Stephen Pereff personally takes every rescue call.

Who needs rescue: Stephen estimates that 50% of the clients he has spoken to have been taken advantage of by a local contractor — with very sad horror stories. Pereff is here to change that.

Triggers for a rescue call:

  • Client cannot get their loan due to over-design
  • City issues blocking the project
  • A builder has run off with money or abandoned the project
  • A builder cannot continue (financial distress, capacity issues)

Rescue cadence:

  1. Within 24 hours — PDG responds to the inquiry; client tells PDG everything; PDG asks what stage the project is in
  2. Within a couple of days after a site walk is scheduled — PDG creates a remediation plan on how to turn the project around
  3. No-litigation rule — PDG will NOT enter a project where there is current litigation. If litigation exists, PDG will instruct the client on next steps to avoid or resolve the litigation first, and ensure a new viable contract is in place with the client and bank if necessary.
